Are you looking to give someone a special gift to mark an occasion?  Making a donation in celebration on behalf of a friend or loved one is a unique gift that will have positive impacts on the life of an Indigenous child.

Planning a party or a type of celebration? Share your special occasion with Yalari and consider asking your guests to donate to Yalari in lieu of a gift.

Celebration donations allow you to celebrate your special occasion while helping raise vital funds and awareness for a great cause. By choosing to support Yalari on your special day, you can make a real difference by helping us continue to educate and empower Indigenous children from regional, rural and remote area of Australia.

Giving in memory is a powerful way to honour a friend or loved one.

When making a donation, please include the full name of the deceased. If you would like us to notify their next of kin of your gift, please include the next of kin’s full name and mailing address. We will promptly mail a personalised sympathy card to the nominated individual or family letting them know about your gift. You will receive a tax receipt and your donation will be fully tax-deductible.

Your Will is the perfect place to remember the causes you care about.  Become part of a very special group of Yalari supporters who have chosen to leave a gift to Yalari in their Will.

By remembering Yalari, you will have chosen to be part of creating generational change by empowering Indigenous children through education.

Your gift will:

Continue to provide education scholarships to Indigenous children from regional, rural and remote communities across Australia.

Support students so they will have the best possible chance of success at school.

Continue to support Yalari students in their transition to higher education, vocational training and employment.

Create opportunities for Indigenous children that were not available to the generations before them.

Offer choice and opportunity for all members of Australia to proactively and valuably participate.

Companies that have raised money through events, conferences or activities are able to make their donation here.

The wonderful team at Findex raised nearly $11,000 for Yalari through their employee matched giving campaign. The staff generously supported the fundraising initiative at their conference.

Individuals, businesses and organisations sometimes like to help by fundraising on behalf of Yalari. We will give you the tools and help you need, to ensure your fundraising event is not only successful and fun, but also provides accountability to the donating public. You can host your own events, in your time, at your own pace. Morning tea anyone?!

Some other ideas to help kick-off your fundraising efforts might include: auction, plant sale, tug of war, raffle, karaoke night, guessing competitions, bbq and fun run!!
Please download our information pack “Your Guide to Fundraising Success” to get started!

Students at Moreton Bay College nominated Yalari as their fundraising beneficiary again in 2017. They held a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party in College Quad and for a gold coin donation, were asked to don their craziest hat and socks!

If you are unable to attend one of our annual fundraising dinners, you may wish to make a donation in lieu of attending.

We often allocate ‘in leiu’ tickets to family members of Yalari children who might not otherwise be able to attend.
