FORMS & POLICIES
Yalari supports the rights of children and is committed to the safety and well-being of the children and young people it works with. Yalari recognises that children have the right to special protection because of their vulnerability to exploitation and abuse and makes a commitment to prevent any person from working with children if they pose an unacceptable risk to children.
This includes a commitment to responding to allegations of harm resulting from the conduct or actions of any person associated with the company (in any role, albeit paid or unpaid). Our approach is to provide a safe and supportive environment for all students and requires all employees, volunteers and visitors to model and encourage behaviour that upholds the dignity and protection of students from harm. In support of these commitments, Yalari is dedicated to its Child Protection Policy which ensures relevant child protection policies, risk management strategies, procedures and training is in place to effectively address the safety and well-being of students in its’ care.
The ACNC Tick of Charity Registration (the Registered Charity Tick) aims to gives reassurance to the public that the charity is transparent and accountable and listed on the ACNC Charity Register.
We hope that the Registered Charity Tick will have a positive effect on public trust and confidence in the charity sector and we encourage members of the public to check the Register to find out more details about charities they wish to support.
The Registered Charity Tick can be used by registered charities on printed and digital media, and where possible we encourage charities to link the Tick to their listing on the charity register.
Charities that are overdue in providing us their yearly reporting, or charities we have taken compliance action against, are not eligible to download the Registered Charity Tick.
