Join us at camps

We would love to welcome alumni to volunteer at student camps throughout the year. In 2024, there will 3 camps alumni can volunteer at: the Year 10 Pay It Forward Camp, the Year 11 Pathways Camp, and the Year 12 HSF Weekend. You will be able to share your story with students and act as a role model for them to look up to and be inspired by – Yalari students see our alumni as their own future, and you can play a role in helping them see what their pathways might look like.

Year 10 Pay It Forward Camp

Each year, our Year 10s head to Mt Tamborine for the Pay It Forward Camp. Learning about the Pay It Forward concept, reflecting on personal character strengths, and completing a high ropes course

Year 11 Pathways Camp

Year 11 Pathways Camp

For the Year 11 Camp, students head to Bond University, where they get to learn about the paths available to them after school. A significant part of this camp is having students hear from Yalari supporters about their careers, and also hearing from alumni about the journeys they took after graduation to get to where they are.
