Shining a spotlight on Yalari sponsor Qscan Group

Aug 24, 2022

Qscan Group CEO Chris Munday shares his thoughts on what the partnership with Yalari means to Qscan:

“Qscan is passionate about providing world-class health care to rural and regional Australia, with more than half of our clinics located in these areas, many of which have a high Indigenous population. In Inverell, NSW, for example there are no daily interventional radiology services, so one of our Lismore doctors drives to this location to provide this important service each month.

We are delighted to partner with Yalari because of the work they do with Indigenous children in rural, regional and remote communities. We appreciate the opportunity to support these children through their secondary schooling, with a view to helping them on their way toward a bright and successful future. We hope our Yalari students are happy, fulfilled and thriving in their learning environment. In the future, we would like to extend our partner¬ship with Yalari to offer work experience placements to Indigenous students in their senior years. This would allow students who are interested in a career in health to gain valuable first-hand experience. We also hope to encourage more corporate entities to partner with Yalari to sponsor students for their secondary education, as we believe this partnership is rewarding for everyone involved.”
