This role is not for the faint hearted. You will use your passion, enthusiasm, skills and previous work experience to work as a Student Support Officer.  Our Student Support Officers are integral to the success and outcomes of our scholarship student’s time during the scholarship. This role provides support to students and facilitates an effective relationship between the student and the student’s parents/carers with the school.

Yalari is seeking a Student Support Officer, on a permanent part time basis for 15 hours per week to work with our scholarship students at a partner school in Orange.

You will hold a minimum Diploma level qualifications in Community Services, Teaching, Teaching Support or other relevant areas, along with demonstrated experience in working with young people, particularly Indigenous young people and demonstrated experience in dealing with challenging situations with young people. You will also have proven experience in maintaining case management files and case notes with proven communication, collaboration and negotiation skills.

Of course, you will be computer literate (in MS Office Suite and Databases) along with having an ability to work autonomously and as part of a remote team.
