The Glennie School, QLD

The Glennie School was the other foundation partnership school for Yalari in 2006. 2010 will see the graduation of our first student, Nellie Bond from Murgon, who enrolled at The Glennie School in 2006 as a Year 8 boarder.

“When I first met Waverley Stanley and listened to him describe his vision for Yalari, I was immediately impressed by his passion and determination to see talented Indigenous  youngsters received what he called “a hand up, not a hand out.” Wendy Ashley-Cooper, Head of School.

 Eight girls are enrolled at The Glennie School on Yalari scholarships.
